Insurance-claim remodels in DFW
TrueForm Remodeling handles insurance-claim rebuilds in DFW — water damage from supply-line and drain leaks, fire and smoke damage, hail and storm damage to siding, windows, and HVAC condensers, vehicle impact, and freeze-event burst pipes that have been common across North Texas after the 2021 and 2024 freezes. We respond same-day, get on-site within 24 hours for active water or post-fire situations, and start mitigation immediately (extraction, structural drying, board-up, tarping) to prevent secondary damage. We work directly with your adjuster, write Xactimate-aligned scopes in line-item carrier format, and file supplements when demo uncovers hidden damage. Texas law prohibits waiving deductibles — we don't, and we'll flag any contractor who offers to. A 3-year workmanship warranty covers every rebuild across Dallas, Plano, Frisco, Southlake, McKinney, Allen, Richardson, Arlington, Carrollton, and Fort Worth.

Pricing ballpark
Pricing on insurance-claim work follows the carrier's approved Xactimate scope plus any approved supplements. Your out-of-pocket cost is the deductible (set by your policy) plus any upgrades you elect outside of the carrier scope (typically finish upgrades — a higher tile, a different counter, an upgraded faucet). Upgrades are quoted in writing as a separate line and paid directly to TrueForm, not through the claim.
Frequently asked
Do you work with my insurance company?
Yes. We work directly with the adjuster on every claim — Xactimate-aligned scope of work, line-item pricing in carrier format, supplements when discovery uncovers hidden damage, and final invoice tied to the approved scope. You sign the contract; we handle the back-and-forth with the adjuster.
What kinds of claims do you handle?
Water damage from supply line, drain, or appliance leaks; fire and smoke damage; storm and wind damage; hail damage to siding, windows, and HVAC condensers; vehicle impact; and freeze-event burst pipes (common in DFW after the 2021 and 2024 freezes). We don't handle mold remediation directly — we partner with a licensed Texas mold contractor when needed.
How fast can you start mitigation?
Same-day response on the call and on-site within 24 hours for active water or post-fire situations. Mitigation — water extraction, structural drying, board-up, tarping — starts immediately to prevent secondary damage that the carrier may not cover.
Will you handle the deductible?
No. Under Texas law, contractors cannot waive or rebate insurance deductibles. The deductible is your contractual responsibility under the policy. We can offer financing through Hearth to spread the deductible payment over time.
What if the adjuster's scope is missing items?
We file a supplement. Hidden damage often surfaces during demo — a leak behind drywall, charred framing under intact sheathing, water-damaged subfloor under tile. We document with photos, write the supplement in Xactimate format, and submit it for approval before continuing that line of work. Most carriers approve well-documented supplements within 5–10 business days.
